I delve into the profound essence of belonging, anchored particularly in my connection to my motherland. As a minority navigating life in a foreign country, my personal journey became entwined with reflections on identity and place, leading me to explore these themes through the lens of my camera. Drawing inspiration from my experiences and a poignant visit to my homeland, each image in this collection embodies the warmth of belonging and the resonance of cultural ties. Through a documentary/editorial approach, I sought to unveil the stories of individuals, capturing the raw authenticity of their lives bathed in natural light. With minimal post-production, I aimed to preserve the organic beauty of each scene, ensuring a consistent yet evocative portrayal of the subjects and their environments.
